Just when we all thought that regular Shakespeare Express engine 4965 Rood Ashton Hall
would bow out from Shakespeare Express duties, Tyseley Locomotive Works were fortunate enough to get a mainline extension for a further 6 months. So it was
'117 not out'.
4965 Rood Ashton went on to head the the Shakespeare Express again during the 10th season for a further 7 times.
Making 124 in all!
