Tour Updates

Itinerary

In conjunction with the NRM, we are running a steam tour to York for Britain’s biggest rail celebration, with amazing activities for all ages. Experience a grand gathering of over 30 awe-inspiring locomotives including Flying Scotsman, City of Truro and our own London Transport liveried Pannier, L94. Climb inside drivers' cabs, ride on trains big and small and see toy trains from big brands. Get up close to the fastest, strongest and oldest locos, and catch rarely seen vehicles like snow ploughs and leaf blowers.

Railfest 2012 will be a paid admission event (charges tbc), although free admission will continue to be offered to the rest of the Museum throughout the nine-day event.
