Itinerary - Forth Circular (optional add-on tour)

Passengers may also book this add-on tour on Sunday 27 May.

We begin our day at approximately 11:30am with passenger pick-ups at Linlithgow and Dalmeny before steaming over the majestic Forth Bridge towards our last passenger pick-up at Inverkeithing.

We then head out along the Fife coast and around the Fife circle, then follow the recently re-opened railway beside the estuary through Kincardine and Alloa to Stirling, where there will be a break of around 2 hours to visit the historic city centre or take photographs.

We then re-board the train, heading past the Bo’Ness Railway and over the Forth Bridge for a second time, setting down at Inverkeithing. Here a Diesel will attach itself to the rear of the train to take us back over the Forth Bridge a third time, setting passengers down at Dalmeny and Linlithgow.
