Note from Webmaster: I am intending to continue this feature page on the LNWR 2-2-2 Bloomer that is being built at Tyseley Locomotive Works. Although this project has 'gone quiet' over the last few years as efforts have been devoted to Vintage Trains' launch as a regular operator of steam trains on Network Rail, nevertheless the Bloomer Project has still been 'simmering' in the background.

Empty INKJET Cartridge Recycling Appeal for Bloomer - Now Closed
Over the last few years we have collected empty inkjet cartridges to raise funds for the Bloomer Appeal. During the economic slowdown many cartridges have become worthless, which together with the time it takes volunteers to sort the different brands it is no longer viable. We thank everybody who has contributed to the scheme over the last few years and raised over £1,000. This has helped advance the project by allowing machining of various motion components.
We request that you do NOT send any further cartridges to us as we will have to environmentally dispose of them at our cost.
