Tyseley is about 3 miles south of Birmingham City Centre. The station is situated on Wharfdale Road, which is off the Warwick Road (A41).

There is a large car park at nearby Tyseley Locomotive Works. Passengers joining our trains (only) at Tyseley may use this car park - free of charge.

Tyseley Locomotive Works (formerly known as Birmingham Railway Museum) is situated on the Warwick Road 5-10 minutes walk from Tyseley station.
